Teens Unite Loughton Office is now open!

The doors to Teens Unite’s office in Loughton were officially opened by the charity’s Co-Founder, Karen Millen OBE on Friday 21st September 2018.

Seven teenagers hear the words ‘you have cancer’ every day in the UK and over the past 11 years, Teens Unite has been helping them to overcome the social, emotional and physical effects of a diagnosis. Through workshops, activities and residential stays, young people can come together so they don’t have to face their battle alone.

Joining Karen Millen OBE to cut the ribbon was CEO and Co-Founder of Teens Unite, Debbie Pezzani, Deputy Town Mayor for Loughton, Cllr Stella Murphy and Chair Trustee of Teens Unite, Gary Couch.

The new facilities, located within Islandbridge House are in addition to the charity’s Head Office in Broxbourne and have been generously donated by Islandbridge Properties Ltd.

Guests enjoyed canapes and Prosecco, whilst having the opportunity to find out more about the work of Teens Unite and how they can make a difference to the lives of young people who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Teens Unite welcomes the support of those in the local community; whether this is through fundraising, corporate partnerships, volunteering or attending upcoming events; there are plenty of ways to get involved.
