Bags of Help

Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of up to £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores – being awarded to local community projects.

Bags of Help offers community groups and projects across the UK a share of revenue generated from carrier bag sales in Tesco store. The public will now vote in store during the period 1 March to 30 April on who should receive the awards.

Teens Unite is one of the Charities that could benefit from these very generous grants, to fund a series of art workshops for the young people we support.

This series of workshops provide the opportunities to express thoughts, anxieties, and fears through creativity.  The activities use the creative process to improve a young person’s physical, mental and emotional well-being, helping them to resolve issues as well as develop and manage their behaviours and feelings, reducing stress and improving self-esteem.

You can help us to help these young people by using your token to support Teens Unite at the following Tesco Stores

Cheshunt Tesco Superstore

Cheshunt Tesco Extra

Flamstead End Tesco Express

Theobalds Park Tesco Express

You can find out more about the scheme here. So, please leave your bags at home and support Teens Unite!
