You can make a difference

In the last of our series about Charity of the Year partnerships, we focus on the indescribable feeling you get when you have contributed to a worthwhile cause, whether it is through monetary donation, volunteering or active fundraising; that feeling of self-accomplishment is not something to be undervalued.

And, it doesn't take a lot to make a huge difference

£10 could pay for lunch for a teen at a workshop

£20 could pay for a teen to travel to a workshop or activity

£100 could pay for one young person to attend our activity day, where they can challenge themselves physically and mentally, often for the first time since diagnosis

£240 could pay for travel for 12 teens to attend a workshop and meet other young people with similar experiences to their own

£500 could provide art materials for a workshop in which the young people express their thoughts, feelings and anxieties through photography, jewellery making, fashion design or painting a canvas

£1220 could pay for 12 young people to attend a Cookery Workshop where they will learn about healthy eating, as well as key kitchen skills to help them regain their independence.

So, what are you waiting for? Come on, make a difference!

“…we get the medicine, therapies and treatment for cancer from doctors, but the love and support that you provide really does give a boost that helps so much through the onslaught of everything else. I’m so grateful for all you do for me and others that I meet that become true friends. Thank you so much teens Unite from the bottom of my heart.” Rachel – Teen, following a Beauty Workshop
