See the Sights of the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas for World Cancer Day

Stretching a staggering distance of 277 miles long and standing 7,000 ft above sea level, the Grand Canyon is one of the most incredible national parks around the globe. It’s easy to see why millions of tourists visit each year with the vibrant, red rock encompassing millions of years of geological history and beautiful views which take your breath away.

If visiting the Grand Canyon has always been on your wish list, then what better time to sign up than now to mark World Cancer Day on 4th February 2018.

Charities and organisations around the world, including Teens Unite, are uniting in the fight against cancer and as we embrace this year’s global theme of ‘We Can. I Can’, we are asking our supporters to sign up to one of our challenges. On our list for 2018, is a trek across the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park, including time in Las Vegas.

Yes, you heard us right...Las Vegas…Believe us when we say you won’t want to miss out!

After arriving in Las Vegas on 13th October, you will make the most of a good night’s sleep before starting the 60km trek the following day.

To help you be at one with nature, you’ll enjoy four nights glamping under the stars during your trek, where you can really soak up the incredible views and history that surrounds you.

After five days of trekking, you will take a drive to Las Vegas where you will stay for the next two nights and enjoy the city at your own leisure.

It’s not all fun and games- every step you take will genuinely be making a difference to the lives of the young people Teens Unite supports who have battled or are battling cancer.

Taking part in this trip requires a £250 deposit and minimum sponsorship amount of £3,500.

These costs include your flights, meals, certified trip leaders, accommodation, a doctor, national park entrance fees and transport.
