EERC - Britcar Championship
Teens Unite would like to thank Witt Gamski for making us a special part of his Britcar Championship season, by stickering his car up in Teens Unite stickers.
Only nine Ferrari 360GTC's were produced, making this a very rare and special race car.
The car was built in 2005 to compete in the prestigiuos Le-Mans 24 hour event, the car is especially suited for endurance racing. This actual car raced in both Le-Mans and Bahrain 24 hour events, finishing 3rd in the latter.
The car has a 450 horsepower engine with a six speed sequential gearbox. The car weighs just 1100 kilos due to the fact of its lightweight carbon fibre panels and extensive bespoke engineering.
It will be raced this year by Witt Gamski in the EERC, Britcar Championship.
Witt has been racing for eight years and started in a Ferrari 355 in which he won the championship twice in 2005 and 2006, he is the only driver to win every race, bar one, in 2006. Needing a new challenge, Witt and the team decided on a new championship in 2007, so along came a Ferrari 360 Challenge car. Witt notched up two wins, one being a 4 hour race at Spa Francorchamps together with his co-driver David Smith and one at Castle Combe along with several 2nd and 3rd finished.
Now in 2008, Witt together with his team and the new 360GTC hopes to do well despite being up against fierce competition from semi-professional and professional racing drivers.
