Square Mile Stamford Bridge Cup

The Square Mile held an exclusive 5-A-Side competition at one of Europe's leading football clubs, Stamford Bridge home to Chelsea FC, to raise funds for Teens Unite.
20 teams took to the field for the morning group stages with five in a group, the top two of each progressed into the Cup competition with the rest making up the Plate.
Plate Competition
In the final Saxon FC beat S.E.C. 5‐3 in what turned out to be a goal‐fest. As a result Saxon were named The Square Mile Plate Champions 2009.
Cup Competition
It was to be a Teens Unite 1‐Pathology Group final. Fittingly it was one of the tightest games of the knockout stage with not much to choose from between the two. After a hard fought game Pathology Group ran out 2‐1 winners and were crowned The Square Mile Cup Champions 2009.
