If you decide to make a gift to Teens Unite in your Will, there are a number of ways you can do so. If you already have a Will, you can simply add a gift by making a short document called a Codicil. If you don’t have a Will, or want to make a new one, you can include a gift in the Will. In both cases, we would always recommend that you start off by talking it through with a solicitor.

Below are a number of ways you may wish to contribute to Teens Unite.

Residuary gift - The ‘residue’ of your estate is what is left once other gifts and payments to creditors (like funeral expenses, etc.) have been deducted. You can choose either to leave the whole of the residue of your estate to Teens Unite, or a proportion (expressed as a percentage).

Gift of a fixed sum - You may prefer to give a certain amount of money to Teens Unite. Rather than leaving a fixed sum to Teens Unite, you might like to link this to a national price index (such as the Retail Prices Index) to make sure that the gift takes account of inflation.

Leaving a specific item - Some people like to leave us a specific valuable item from amongst their belongings, such as a piece of furniture, a property, a piece of art or some jewellery.

If you would like to contribute to Teens Unite Fighting Cancer, by leaving a gift to us in you will, we would be most grateful if you could let us know. This in no way binds you to leaving the gift, but it would allow us the chance to thank you appropriately.

We are always happy to talk to you about making gifts, to find out more please feel free to contact us on 01992 440091 or info@teensunitefightingcancer.org
